The Main school for MTA is for young people aged between 11 - 18. The maximum per group is 16. Upon application groups will be sorted according to ability and time preference. There is no audition for MTA main school as we actively encourage our students to strive for their best in theatre arts.

Teaching is on a weekly basis and the school is held at Walton on the Hill scout HQ. The majority of the teaching in the first term is done by Phil Morton (Head of School) with visiting teachers from the entertainment industry.

 

MTA Kids is for all your budding little stars! With an emphasis on Fun musical activities, your child can learn to sing, act and dance with professional, qualified staff. Each term MTA kids will work towards a small show which parents are invited to come and see.

Starting in January 2008 open auditions will be held for the first MTA production at the Secombe Theatre in Sutton.

This years show will be The Who's Tommy the musical. It's an exciting project which will be supported from leading members of the production industry.

The ensemble parts for this production are open without audition to MTA main school students.

Scheduled for July 2008. This years summer school will be a one week intensive course open to all, (11- 18).

Taking place at the Secombe Theatre, summer school students will perform "Showstoppers". An MTA project which links together the worlds musicals.

The fully staged excerpts will be guaranteed to delight audiences and students - all done from scratch in ONE WEEK!!!
